Julia Rusanovsky is strongly influenced by the community, culture and sounds of her hometown. Even as a youngster, she was drawn to music and musicians. She truly understands the power of sound and try to perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum.
Her signature style is instantly recognizable and is becoming a sound that others are beginning to emulate. With her name becoming increasingly heard on a national stage, her career is at an important crossroads that could see them burst onto the international charts.

Julia Rusanovsky was born in Amsterdam and started playing the violin and the piano at the age of four. Later she decided to go for the violin and was admitted to the Young Talent department at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. After this, Julia continued her studies with Heinz Oberdorfer (violinist of the Parkanyi Quartet and deputy principal of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra) at the Conservatory of Arnhem, where she obtained her diploma in June 2010.
Julia likes to play recitals and played a solo concert in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in 2018.
In addition to solo performances, Julia is active in the chamber music and orchestra world. She also frequently performs in the Netherlands and abroad with Trio Rusanovsky.
Together with the well-known pianist, conductor and founder of the New Amsterdam Orchestra Stephan Geusebroek, Julia gives live-stream concerts as a piano/violin duo. She has also worked and recorded music with and for several well-known Dutch singers such as Marco Borsato, Waylon Bijkerk, Gordon Heuckeroth and many more. You can also see Julia coming by on the TV in programs such as Holland's Got Talent and various TV commercials.
Julia plays on a beautiful Italian Camilli violin from 1738.
